Barn Owl

Size: 33-36CM, 12.5-14INC

The Barn Owl is an average-sized owl; it has a heart-shaped face, yellow-brown and grey upper parts and white under parts. Plus, it is shaky when it flies, has an incredibly loud, screeching call and generally has a ‘ghostlike’ look. It can be recognised immediately to everybody and is an exceptionally gorgeous bird for sure.

Barn Owls prefer open space, like the countryside. Also, they would rather hunt next to field edges, measly locations, ditches, trenches and woodland edges. They nest in barns, exclusive owl boxes and hollow trees.

Cuckoo

A well-known summer visitor, Cuckoos is discovered throughout Europe from the beginning of April to the middle of September. Turtle Dove

Feral Pigeon

The Feral Pigeon is a really well-known dove, plump in appearance, and is incredibly popular throughout the entire continent. They can definitely be spotted everywhere, being really easy to see in towns and cities, frequently in extremely big numbers. Collared Dove

Wood Pigeon

Stock Dove

Size: 31-35CM, 12-14INC

The Stock Dove is a really immaculate, solid bird that is located normally across most of Europe, with the exception of northern Scotland and Scandinavia. It tends to favour woods and open farmland, but it can still be found in more urban parks and gardens.

Stock Doves tend to be a little more solitary than other doves and pigeons, usually seen in pairs, but they do sometimes flock.

The Stock Dove is smaller than the Woodpigeon, with a small, squarish head, plump body and beautifully subtle plumage. It never shows the more obvious white neck patch and white wing patch of the adult Woodpigeon, and, unlike the latter, has two short dark bars across the inner wing. The two species appear quite different when seen together.
